There is another way to conduct life on Earth other than the Hobbesian way, where life is perceived as nasty, brutish, short, and ultimate authority is nothing but a natural state of society.
According to Hobbes, the only way to escape civil war and to maintain a state of peace in a commonwealth is to institute an impartial and absolute sovereign power that is the final authority on all political issues.
The "natural" state of humans really depends on what our mind is being nourished with. Every era's controllers have been keen on taking advantage of that simple knowledge and have been using it in a brutal and ironically, inhumane fashion, to keep humans thinking like sheep, thus easily exploitable and perishable.
The controllers' brutal way then is adopted by the sheep themselves who turn on their own people and brutalize "lesser" humans perceiving their attitude and actions as serving the supreme morals of the land.
We can change this pyramid-shape social construct with its trickling social darkness upon all, to something else that we want to see. A world without kings and dictatorial govern-mental control, and personal freedom as the natural state of humans !
If our species can alter genes in such a smart and advanced way, or (simply) fly an airplane between the heavens and earth, we must be able to detach from the Hobessian enforced perception of life.
Life is beautiful, altruistic, and constructive collaboration is the essence of a healthy society, where every person has full control over his or her body, mind, and soul.
Now think about it, if you wouldn't have heard the "news" and no one else would not have listened to the govern-mental institutions and their a (not)-gentle (agents) like the media and school, wouldn't you live in a more prosperous, fulfilling and happy life with yourself and your community?
